Please reach us at info@trinitypocatello.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Trinity’s main entrance is across from Pocatello High School (on Arthur) and across from the school’s parking lot (on Lander). On Sunday mornings, you’re welcome to park in the Lander Street lot. If you’re visiting during school hours, try the city lot directly behind it, between the alley and Main Street
Both the church and the Parish Hall can be accessed by concrete ramps. Bathroom facilities are available in the Parish Hall but not in the historic church building itself.
Wear what you find comfortable. When you look around, you might see a few people in nice “Sunday” clothes, a few others in T-shirts and jeans, and many who fall somewhere in between.
Very much so! Our Eucharist services on 2nd and 4th Sundays include a “children’s moment” before the sermon, when children are present. We’re happy to have children join us in the congregation, and we like to hear them, too.
We do, however, have a nursery in the Parish Hall, if you would rather bring your children there. We do not have a Sunday School at this time.
Please do what you find comfortable. You’re welcome to remain seated and simply observe, but you may stand or kneel if you choose to do so. In general, we stand to praise (including hymns and sung psalms); we sit to learn (including scripture readings and sermons); and we stand or kneel to pray. If you look around, however, you may notice that not everyone is always doing the same thing at the same time!
No, you do not. While a contribution to the ministries of the church is always welcome, your prayers and presence are your gifts to us. As a visitor or a guest, you may simply pass the plate along to the person next to you or hand it to the usher.
Feel free to ask one of our ushers, or the Vestry person on Duty (they’ll identify themselves at the announcements) or the minister leading the service. Or drop us a note here.
